Just thought I would post some pictures of my Jetfire cars. We are into the 62 Jetfire mostly but picked up a 63 last October. We have decided to sell it to restore one of our 62's. Our first one was the 62 Automatic car and then we got a 62 factory 4 speed Jetfire that needs restored. It is one of two known 62 factory 4 speed cars left. They only made 203 of them in 4 speed in 62. Last weekend we picked up another 62 Jetfire parts car. In total we own three 62 Jetfire and one 63 Jetfire. The 63 will be listed on eBay Sunday night. We are selling it to be able to do a concourse restoration on the 62 4 speed car.

I am listing this Oldsmobile Jetfire on eBay Sunday February 25th and will be completed on March 4th. This will be a no reserve and no opening bid auction. I do have it listed in a couple places for $32K. High bidder on eBay owns it whatever that price is. I will link the eBay listing here when it goes live. i have been doing some checking and found out about a guy in MI. Point Automatic transmission, John is the guys name. 586 776 7300. he told me by phone that these are light enough that UPS will ship them and he charges $500 plus parts. i have no idea what parts cost. he specializes in vintage transmissions. i liked what i heard but have no experience with them. if you can pull it and ship it i would call them and see what they recommend.

real similar to what you described yours was doing. when it shifts out of first it is like neutral. if you accelerate harder in first and let off the throttle when it shifts it will go to third and skip second. i have all the CSMs for the car. the 61, 62 and Jetfire supplement. they sure help. i plan to try to adjust the TV rod tonight and see if that helps. only problem i have is not having the tool (or measurement) for the lever at the transmission.

i have a set of C head big valve cores. they were checked and have no cracks. they are bare heads and need everything. never been cut on and out of unrebuilt 69 toronado engine. $150 plus shipping. jensenracing77@yahoo.com i can e mail pictures.

any updates on this? who did the rebuild on the transmission. i just got a 62 Jetfire and having some issues. how much was it to get the seals replaced? i am new here, sorry for all the questions.
