Modified the ecoboost wiring harness and a new body wiring harness to require to entire car.
-
I didn’t have them hook up the cruise control. The wire is there for it if I wanted my interior guy to install it, but I have no need for it as I just don’t ever use it in any of my cars.

It’s got normal drive mode and sport. Sport makes a considerable difference with throttle response and shift points.

Thanks, Ben! Performs great, I’m loving it. I’ve put almost 500 miles on it so far which is probably what I put on it the 10 yrs prior to now combined. Spent the last week tracking down all the thunks, bangs, squeaks and rattles. Bout got all of them located and fixed. On to the interior shop as soon as I can get in.

A few pics from picking it up at the shop and when I got it home and started polishing it up again. It runs awesome, a blast to drive, the bump shift option on the Lokar sport shifter is a lot of fun too! I’ll post some more details and pics of the build as soon as I have time. Been a busy week since I got it home. Appreciate the interest in what a lot of folks may consider a dumb build or a waste of money 💰 Andy

Sorry, been gone for a while! Actually just got the car back home Tuesday, after 4+ years in the shop. I'll post an update very soon!

I’m in Atlanta. The tires are Diamond Backs, they make a time of different white and redline tires for custom applications. Wheels are 18” Detroit Steel Ambassadors. They look orettt sharp with the baby moons and rings installed.

Just got word my driveshaft came in, so mechanically it should be done in the next couple of weeks. Paint and interior scheduling seem to pose their own challenges right now. Hoping the entire project is completed this year, but we'll see how that goes. I'll update as I make progress.

Thanks! Yes sir, it is.

Decided 4 years ago I wanted to modernize my Buick and do something unique with it. It’s finally close to being back on the road. Just waiting on a driveshaft and rear end rebuild, before starting the interior and paint. it’s a 2.3L ecoboost w/ 6r80 trans. Scott’s hot rods front end, coilovers all around, 4 link rear, electronic power steering, AC, etc. it’s been a journey…

I know this isn’t y’all’s thing, but I’ve been working on it for 4 years and finally getting close to getting it back on the road. Hoping the finish the interior and paint this year and enjoy it for a while.

Will do, Ben. Should be pretty cool...a little different. Picked up a 2.3L ecoboost / 6r80 auto trans out of a 2016 Mustang. Going to go bigger turbo and some other goodies that should put down around 410hp/420tq to the rear wheels. Scott’s Hot Rods IFS, 4 link rear, coilovers all around. Gonna be a lot of fun ? -

Agreed, I’d rather it not sit in my garage and rot, and I refuse to scrap it. It’d like to see it go to someone who will be able to use it. -

Thanks for your input, but I dont recall asking for opinions on my plans, for my car. I dont want a new car...I want this car, and I am going to modify it regardless of what anyone else would like for me to do with it. It is not a rare or very desireable car, but it means a great deal to me and I plan to drive it for a very long time. Andy -

@MrEarl I’m in Atlanta, just north of the perimeter. Willing to entertain offers from anyone in need of the driveline, as I’m not exactly sure how to value it. I apologize if not listing a price is against the rules. -

Kind of...it’s getting a LS. I’ve owned and driven the car in its current state for a little over 10 years, but don’t drive it as often as I’d like, simply because it’s not really ideal for Atlanta traffic. -

248ci straight 8 (complete...carb to oil pan and currently running). Along with the 3 speed trans, torque tube and rear end. All original and all in working order, still in the car at this time. I belive there to be around 55k - 60k miles on the car. Minor exhaust leak at the manifold gasket, which is pretty common. Feel free to text me @ 770-318-8315. Im in Atlanta, Ga.
