Looking for replacement part 4 cylinder magneto wire bracket. This is a rectangular block the wires pass through. The original may have been bakelite or similar as it is crumbling. I could make one out of wood but thought I would try this first. The car is a 1913 Metz, should be a somewhat universal part.

Does anyone know of a source for a Magneto wire bracket that mounts above the manifold. I have the metal bracket, need the part the wires pass through. The original must be bakelite or similar as it is crumbling. I thought about making one of wood but thought I'd try finding one.

I was comparing my 1913 Metz "22" engine to a 1915 "25" block that I have. In addition to the larger bore I found the cylinder height of the 25 to be approximately 3/8th inch taller. I don't have "22" rods but have "25" rods to use if they are the same. But either the piston height, rod length or crankshaft has to be different. Anyone else have any ideas?

The cylinder height is 3/16th inch taller. The parts list shows connecting rods to be the same part number, crankshaft is same part number, cannot find a cylinder assembly part number for the "25" model. I may have to have the connecting rods modified to get the correct height.

Found an oil pump in another engine. Another hurdle crossed with many more ahead. Thanks for the help.
The last 3 photos of the pump are exactly what I am missing. Is this pump unique only to Metz engines or did any other manufacturer use a same or similar pump? Thanks for your help it is keeping me moving forward on this project.

If you find out anything more about the front seal please let me know. Mine is missing.
Looking at the parts list it appears to be a felt washer held by 3 screws into the front cover.

Hi There, I have a price list for Model 22 parts, I can try and scan page that lists the Oil Pump parts
that may give you a guide as you count the parts, if this will help please advise
Regards Dave
Thanks for the offer. I have a parts list but not an illustration of the screen parts. I appreciate the feedback.
