no it is on my 1910 oakland (not Original)) i resplased the gaskets alreaddy

I did try with starter pilot, and yes i had the impresion that the engine piked up a little at the gas valve axel. onley i could not find 'holes' and i made some leather washers at this place, but no result. the float i'm not realy sure, but i did not touch it, because the car was running perfect before the problem acured and i put it in the garage. now i'm hoping that something is pluged and wil get open again wen i drive and the agressive fuel of today wil open it again. caburator show no leaks. but thanks for the sugestion. wil try it.

I did removed all parts, wired and blow out al posibel holes. its an older model no much parts. can't find any problem, but does not work as it should. i can drive the car with choke valve almost closed, just a litle air, but engine does not have the power it had before, is my impression.

Hello, since a few months i have a problem with a Zenith carb. Wen closing the choke valve, it makes a strange sucking wistle sound like the horn of a T ford. wen opening the valve just litle engine runs okay, but tempted to go faster and slower. wen opening further engine stals. using the gas valve does not work as used. the problem acured wile the car was standing in the garage for a few days. before it run verry wel. alreaddy cleaned several times an looked forfals air drawing, but could not find anything. any sugestions wat other problem could be? thanks for al tips.

Wel they had to pay in advance for the 3 day rally over 100 euro's + most of them had hotel reservations........
