  1. That's actually 1905 E (#2616) despite the advertisements a few years ago, so not L2B eligible. Great car, nonetheless. Here's another White with yet another approach to venting, believed to be a 1910 OO that still exists overseas.
  2. I believe the car is a rear entrance tonneau as Walt suggested. The boiler ("generator" in White terminology) is under the front seat. The oval you see is the front end of a duct that vents; in later years there were holes that served the same purpose.
  3. They made awesome steamers too. Very clever people.
  4. Another Glidden up Mt. Washington, 1947. Blood's '14 Packard trails behind Bump's FIAT being pulled by a Jeep that might have belonged to the toll road.
  5. The plate looked like a Jacksonville, FL plate and when I searched just now for the hotel, this came up. The sign and street lamp appear to match.
  6. I believe the recessed plate is where one's heel goes. I know several makes had this, but offhand can't recall which. And where's the accelerator pedal, if that's what this is? It looks like she could see clearly right through the steering wheel!
  7. Friday winter storm special, 2 for 1 with nice signage as well.
  8. I hope this period image doesn't cause stress. I learned from a reliable source it's a c. 1908 Pierce Great Arrow with column shift.
  9. Aerocar, thank you. I should have paid better attention to the radiator cap. The signage distracted me too!
  10. Sure looks like him. Here he is in the Napier, leaving Minneapolis.
