Thanks, Bob. Now that I have the car in my possession, I can confirm that this is definately not the original paint scheme. The car was originally Mariner Blue. The entire car was the same color that the fenders are now.

I attended judges school and apprentice training in April of 2008. I have not judged at an AACA national meet yet.

After receiving a solicitation for more judges, I sent in my application along with a $5.00 check for the judges breakfast. Today, I received my check back in the mail, without explanation. I will interpret that as a "thanks, but no thanks." and can only speculate as to the reason for the decline.

I have just taken posestion of my new 1947 Torpedo Six. I have the following questions for starters: Can anyone decifer the firewall plate? Body No. BL 342 Trim No. 71 Paint No. 701 Also, the fuel pump is leaking. I am looking for a source for a fuel pump or a rebuild kit. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. DamnTheTorpedo
