  1. Looks close to a 1930's Cadillac, but not quite.
  2. Another auction buy, in a box lot. Place was a funeral home, and marmon dealer in late 1920's. Caddy and pomtiac in the mid 1930's to 1942. Looks to be from a "big" car (hearse?). Only numbers are the number 2 on back in photo 3.
  3. Bought a brunch of crap at an auction (sound familiar?). Got 2 suspension parts with marmon motor car company tags on them. Anyone have a parts book? Looks like a side of wishbone (upper or lower?) Part number n1161 (?) and steering arm? On1160(?)

  6. found in an old barn in upstate New York over 30 years ago. Notice the wire beaded edges, pleened rivets, no spot welds. I guess late teens to mid 1920's ?

  9. Friend of mine sent me this photo. Notice two cowl vents, one per side. Anyone have a clue?

  11. Owner stated when I first discovered the car that "any offers under $250,000 would be an insult". Family had an one off Duesenberg for sale for 50 years. It finally rotted so bad, they ran it over with a D9 and used it for fill !! Car is in pieces under tarps in several locations (including a wood shed with no roof) last I saw it. Wood was redone in the early 1970's, but... Hate to tell you George, you are chasing your tail.

  14. HAVE TWO STANDARD IGNITION PRODUCTS I CAN NOT FIND. ONE ON RIGHT IS D223, THE OTHER IS D232. ANYONE HAVE AN OLD CATALOG THEY CAN LOOK THESE UP FOR ME?

  16. Got from a hunter, found deep in the wood at old logging camp. What it was attached to had rusted into the ground years earlier. Healey and company made coach built bodies for caddy, locomobile, etc. Could this be from one of them?
  17. 1946 - 1948 plymouth has notch in the curve. These do not. They do match up otherwise.

  20. NO PART NUMBER. IN A BOX LOOSE WITH MANY OTHER CHROME TRIM PIECES. MOST OF TRIM WITH NUMBERS SEEMS TO BE LATE 1940'S CHRYSLER. FIRST 3 PHOTOS ARE ONE SET, LAST 2 PHOTOS ARE ANOTHER SET. JUST CLEANED THEM UP, BOY DO THEY SHINE NICE!!!
  21. Found these in an old closed body shop. They bought these at an auction in 1960 of local dealership going out of business sale. Can anyone ID them? there are 2 sets of them.

  23. I have just seen seen one. Heard a lot about the early catalogs, never seen one this early. It's a great piece of automotive history, even if you are not a fan of customs or hot rods.
  24. Update, coming along well. brakes almost done. Found a carb, etc.
