What is this one?

Rochet Schneider made a large range of cars but I reckon this one is the post WW1 12CV on the 119" wheelbase.

Casius, I don't know a lot about them, apart from that style of radiator dates from 1913 up to the early 20's. A 12HP is probably correct; they also made a 14, 16 & 18HP in this period I can't tell them apart, still, it's likely to be a 4 cylinder. I would have thought a 20's car would have electrics, particularly a French one. Even though it's got gas lights, it may have at least a starter? And there aren't many instruments on the dash either, which makes me think it may be made during or just before WW1. It's also got a few American fittings like the Prest-o-lite gas tank and horn, is it somewhere in the US?

 

This one is a 1914 12CV for comparison, the radiator seems smaller, but it is close.
