If I am reading this correctly it says Buick All 39-52, Model 40 1953. So it should work...

I don't know anything about that item. I also don't know why it would only indicate for Series 40. It might work, or there may be a reason why it does not indicate it is appropriate for a Series 60 like you own.

Got this installed in my distributor the other day without a hitch... Not as nice as the Dyna-Flyte 800, but still solid metal...Interestingly enough, the instructions tell you to set the points at .018 instead of the factory .015

It runs very smooth still without the vacuum advance hooked up, which I have not received that yet...
