Mars
I'm getting a slow coolant drip on my 1930cf . It is coming from the 1/2 round unit at the fan shaft. I'm thinking that's the water pump. Not sure how to remedy.
JACK M
Your manual should show a procedure for adjusting or replacing the packing. Might just be a matter of tightening one of those nuts.

Spinneyhill
Remember to put some oil in the oiler under the flip up cap on top of the water pump (in your photo). There is also an oil hole for the front bush on the pump, either from the engine side or through a hole in the pulley in front of the belt. If it is from the engine side, look forward of the gland nut you ask about for a hole in the pump body.
