alsfarms
I have a right side windshield post proper for a 1931-32 Studebaker President four seasons roadster that I would like to sale or trade. Is anyone here collecting pieces to build one of these beautiful cars? I wish I had more parts but I do not. If you are interested I can send pictures. alsfarms
I was able to get a few photos that show this right side post. Now you can evaluate this nice part. Al
studeq
Not a big deal but the 1932 was a convertible coupe and it was never referred to as a Four Season. Totally different car than the '31. Nothing will interchange and be correct from an authenticity stand point.
studerex
The part is for the 31 only. and is broken. It is missing the upper post that holds the upper window channel. I have reproduce them in bronze
alsfarms
hmmmm, studeq, I thought the 1931 and 1932 were nearly the same cars. I am learning about an aspect of Studebaker I did not know. Studerex, do you happen to have a picture of a complete windshield post so I can see exactly what is missing from this item I have? I suppose the post could have some brass added to facilitate a repair? (I did notice that it looked like a piece of the upper bracket is missing). Do you happen to have one of your reproduction left side posts to make a pair out of this piece? I have an option to re-purpose these if they are not needed to save a 1931 Studebaker Four Season Roadster. Thanks for your responses.....
