Super Door Emblem

What is the best way of attaching a replacement door emblem? The aftermarket one I bought has male "nubs" with no threads. I don't want to remove the door panel to get to the inside, so does anyone have any tricks other than super glue?

That looks like the original ones.   There are thin plastic anchors in the holes in the door and the script just gets pushed on from  the outside, without any glue, or fasteners.

Gotcha, the anchors must have fallen down into the door. There's only holes in the metal.

The little anchors (the ones I've seen are metal) also get pushed on from the outside, and they have tiny metal tabs that prevent them from falling through the holes. They usually come off with the old script and remain stuck to the pegs on the old script, or they get left in place in the holes and get painted over, making them difficult to see or remove. New ones are sold by Restoration Specialties & Supply of Windber, PA.

Pete's probably right.  The anchors have stayed in my car when I removed the scripts to polish behind them.  At the time I looked at them I thought they were plastic but could only really see the small ring that's visible on the outside.
