Can you post a few photos of the machine?

Need to see if it is similar to the one I used. I don't have any written info but might be able to help in its adjustments.

I would use it as the instructions say and see how the linings end up fitting your drum. The arcing machines usually set toe and heel clearance automatically after you set the drum and over size up.I have not seen that machine. Sure looks Good though!

 

Do you think it's out of calibration?

I have a couple ammco machines i use for the old car brake shoes.. Lockheed etc.
