Guest my3buicks
http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/cto/4944595233.htmlYou don't often get to see 53 & 54 Skylarks as barn or garage finds - thought this was worth sharing just because it's neat to see one like this. Guest my3buicks
No, at one time probably, but even the restored ones prices are down form the high.
1953mack
That is an interesting find, do you guys think it will sell for the asking price? If the sheet metal and floors are in the condition the seller claims, I would say it should sell in the $40K range. 1953-1954 Skylarks are expensive to re-do. Do some additional Mary Kay cosmetic work on it and drive it. Forget about a body-off restoration.Unlike the 1953 Skylark solid stainless steel sweep spear mouldings that are unique to the 1953 Skylark only, the 1954 Skylark OEM mouldings are interchangeable with Specials and Centuries. No big deal. The hood letters should read BUICK.....not SKYLARK. Nice start for a driver and my guess is that it will sell quickly.
