Guest 48windsor14
Hello I was wondering if anyone could help me find a way to remove my rear brake drum. I bought a drum puller and got the driver side brake drum out. However the passenger side brake drum did not come out. The lug nuts got stripped and I can't figure out how to remove it. Also if I were to cut it with a grinder would it come out. And does anyone know if any brake drum can be used to replace the rear one. Thanks in advanced. Rusty_OToole
Can you drill and tap the holes to a larger bolt size? This will allow getting the hub off without damaging the axle.
countrytravler
We have a 1948 parts car. We have axles and drums. Try an outside puller? Here is a video that I made for pulling drums. Here is another video.
