Tom Burtch
Looks like a 1929 or 1930 Chevrolet
nzcarnerd
1930 cars had wire wheels as standard on roadsters. 1929 cars were mostly on disc wheels with wires as an option.
Guest bgt
See the logo on the radiator grille, like a lightning bolt. What model of Chevrolet is it?
keiser31
The lightning bolt is an added accessory and not Chevrolet specific.
nzcarnerd
The lightening bolt may have been retrieved from a 1929 Marmon - http://significantcars.com/cars/1929marmon2/012.jpg - and the greyhound may have been removed from a circa 1934 Ford. Curti
The wire wheels appear to be 32 Chevy.
Guest mikeburch
I'm guessing that both the lightning bolt and the greyhound are aftermarket accessories that were bought to "jazz" up the guy's roadster. It would be very difficult to adapt a '34 Ford greyhound to a Chevrolet cap, as they were molded into the cap.mikeburch
Guest bgt
Also note the vent on the side is fairly narrow in span.
keiser31
Also note the vent on the side is fairly narrow in span. Here is the 1930....the 1929 and 1930 both had just a few vents in the hood sides. The 1931 has more and the 1932 hood side has doors. This example is an export model. nzcarnerd
There is no doubt that the car is a 1930 model. I agree the wheels are 1932, you can see the difference in the spokes.
