HDonaldCapps
I recently was given a photograph of William Herman Smith that was taken in either Washington, DC or Wilmington, Delaware, circa 1905-1910.We are trying to identify the vehicle and I have not a clue. Given that the steering is still on the right, I am guessing the vehicle dates to prior to 1910.Smith was the father of our Aunt Katherine, Kate Smith, the singer.Any help definitely appreciated. Thanks! CarlLaFong
Is it just me or does it seem that an overwhelming number of unknown cars, posted here, end up being Overlands
1912Staver
They were big sellers . Model T's and most Buick's are pretty distinctive . That leaves Overland and Maxwell to be the high sales volume but more or less forgotten "smaller" car.Greg in Canada

Willys-Overland was third in U.S. sales by 1910, and from 1912 to 1918 was second only to Ford -- though a distant second.
