Rufcar
Now that I have my 65 Riv GS project in good mechanical shape I will start on the exterior restoration on Monday. That said, do I need to remove the interior sail panels in order to access the clips that hold the horizontal rear 1/4 chrome moldings or do they come off another way? Its too bad all the other trim is stainless and then I could just polish it!If I do need to remove the sail panels are they held on with blind push in clips? I want to save them as they are in perfect shape. Tkx Jim F
RivNut
The retainers can be accessed from within the trunk, no need to pull the sail panels. You'll need a long skinny arm.
