  12. Rivdog. I found that once you have access you can use a Flux brush and and some lithium grease you can reach and fell your way into all the tracks and then by moving the window up and down you can oil the rollers. With the new grease and oil and moving the window up and down this should greatly improve the operation.
  13. What I did was cut some vinyl in strip approx. 10" wide and spray glued it along the edges and onto the deteriorating hard foam edges. That gave me a sound edge so any metal won't rub through and allowed the original foam to remain. I did add some softer 1" foam to the center area and a 5" block of foam to under the outer edge of the sunken drivers seat, as that spring was broken. The Clarks vinyl is very firm with a super firm material sewn in so be carful. I am happy with my results but it could be too firm for some.
  14. Ed o believe your talking about seat buttons and the poster us talking about seat bottoms.?
  15. Great find great deal. Congrads. You can buy some r12 cans on ebay sometimes without a license. I have several times. You can usually find some with the filler attachments included. This, way you can fill yourself if you want or a ac service center can use your cans. Jim
  16. I also chose to use bolts and washers as it appears the assembly manual shows some type of push pins. I could be wrong but either way I wanted it to be sturdy as the rubber is old.
