Guest 39 Pickup Posted August 30, 2014 Share Posted August 30, 2014 If it is like the Ford lock, there is a pin that has to be drilled. Drill the center with a 1/8" bit and screw in a slide hammer. When the pin is out the lock cylinder will pull out. May need penetrating oil to help thins along. To replace, drill and tap for a 10-32 set screw to replace the pin. I am afraid of breaking but thought top of shaft was a shimmed not a threaded piecewould you know.If its not froze up why not lube it and put the new cyl in there.
