rapidride2
With originality being important I want to repair my capillary temp gauge on my 52' Roadmaster. Upon removing my cylinder head the tube was indeed broke in half. I just want to repair it correctly. Any reliable sources for this specific work? Guest Straight eight
Sorry I don't have the technical knowledge to help you on your cylinder head problem, You might try "Buick Joe" @comcast.net he has the knowledge. I think he calls himself "The Old Guy"
trp3141592
Hi,Follow ply33's link. It's pretty easy if you do the preparation. You can get a gauge at Auto Zone, advanced Auto, or even Amazon.Edit: I would add that the soldering is very easy if you follow the three rules: 1) It must be clean. 2) It must be clean. 3) It must be clean.--Tom Edited July 14, 2014 by trp3141592 Added info (see edit history)
