PONTIAC1953 Posted June 10, 2014 Share Posted June 10, 2014 that's funny larry w. lol, the camshaft is for a straight eight that had had a ignition distributor right in the middle of the length of the block or cylinder head, not for a pontiac or oldsmobile straight eight, packard straight eight design closely followed the pontiac design. if i had to guess, i would say it might be related to a chrysler straight eight. charles coker, 1953 pontiac tech advisor.
