1930 Plymouth Wood Wheels????

There have been several complete sets of running gear including wood wheels offered on the forum for Dodge, Desoto, Plymouth, and Chrysler with minimal interest. It seems like wire wheels would be more desirable.

You can have you old wheels re-spoked for around $250 perwheel. You would have to clean and paint the rims and hubs prior to delivering the wheels to the wheelwright. I picked up a set recently which were respoked and lacquered with nicely painted hubs & rims. The tires were shot but the wheels looked just about brand new. I paid $1000.00. I have a 29 and my original wheels are 20” the ones I purchased are 19” which would be correct for the1930-U.
