Dandy Dave
I have been wondering about this for a while??? What year did Buick start with their different badges/emblems...And here it is right before my very eyes! Thought I'd share it with you guys! -N- gals too! Things sure have changed though the years! Guest cfBuick
Yup. Sure have. My favorite is the 1913 logo. Quick question, the 1942 logo, it looks more like a family crest than an emblem that would be put on a car.
serb
Center of the steering wheels in late 40's and 50's era Buicks and maybe before (I don't know for sure).Stevo
Dandy Dave
My 15 has that Emblem and it happens to my favorite also. Something about its Blue and White simplicity makes it really stand out and look sharp, Dave!
JohnD1956
If I recall correctly, that 42 insignia was also used in the trunk emblem on my Dad's 55 special.JD
Guest imported_Thriller
Yes, it was used for a number of years...the '52 for sure...I'm trying to recall what's in the steering wheel center of the '56 (unsuccessfully of course)...aha, I have a photo...yes it is still used in '56, at least on the steering wheel of my Special.I have the shadow box of lapel pins that was available for the Centennial...it has the same 8 emblems that are on the pilsner glasses that I also have.
