Guest LouisRugani
The Crosley Car Owners Club (CCOC) was first organized in early 1952 while Crosley auto and truck production was still underway. Its most famous member was President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who owned a 1951 Super and held CCOC Membership #1300. By the early 1960s, however, the CCOC had dwindled away to only sporadic mailings. On January 15, 2006 the CCOC was revived as an online-based club groups.yahoo.com/group/Crosley starting with sixty members (since doubled) and a large and continually growing collection of Crosley history and imagery, both recent and vintage. There are no dues, and all CCOC meets are scheduled at existing functions.Actual Crosley ownership is not mandatory and the only requirement is an interest in Crosley preservation and restoration. Thanks to all for your support.Lou Rugani, CCOC

novaman
You need to be talking to Jim Bollman. He's the biggest (and only) Crosley person I know of on the AACA Fourms.
Jim Bollman
Since my name came up, I will respond. The CCOC was restarted because an individual got upset with the Crosley Automobile Club, that has a paper and web presents.http://www.cac.crosley.nethttp://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Crosley_Gangand sponsors the large National show in Wauseon.I'm the web master and on the Board of Directors of CAC and we welcome all Crosley related cars be them bone stock, racers or modified. By the way the name Crosley Car Owners Club is probably owned by Service Motors (largest Crosley vendor in the world), they bought the original club and ran it the last few years of it's existence. Guest LouisRugani
Thank you for welcoming us. Wayne. It's very much appreciated. To clarify: indeed, the revived CCOC is most certainly committed to restoration, preservation, and the perpetuation of the Crosley legends and legacy. As to Mr. Bollman's comments: those reflect his personal opinions.
