Guest michael
Sorry, I had to deleat my original post and any information on myself as I have recieved over 20 emails from scam artists wanting to make a deal. I'm tired of getting all this junk email and it really creates a problem for the old car hobby. As technology improves the scam/scum seem to follow the trend and ruin things for normal folks... Pete Phillips
There was a 1906 or 1907 Holsman at the auction at Hershey, PA. last week. I did not stay around to see what the car sold for, but if someone knows, that would at least give you something of a place to start.I am currently a student in the Auto Restoration Program at McPherson College in McPherson, KS. There is a Holsman in the restoration shop there, awaiting restoration. If and when the college finally starts this project, they might be a good candidate for buying your engine, if their car's engine is not rebuildable, or if it is missing some parts.Pete PhillipsMcPherson, KS
1937hd45
Finding the car that needs that engine is a tough job. You may want to look into www.PreWarCar.com and their parts for sale section. The carberator looks like it came from a 1920's era Model T Ford. Just a guess, but I think $1,500-$2,000 is where that engine would trade hands for.
