  1. I had a 33 years ago and I think the wings went straight up, not sloped back like yours. I think yours may be a '35.
  2. I'm not familiar with that particular clock. It would help if you could email me a picture of it so that I could see what we are dealing with. Bob.

  7. I am a retired Clockmaker. If your clock is made by Borg, which it probably is, you need to push in on the knob when setting the time.
  8. I am a retired Clockmaker and now deal strictly in antique car clocks. Here is a very nice 1932 Buick 8 day clock. I have serviced the movement and it is in good running condition. The face is excellent, the hands repainted and the lens is blemish free. The bezel (trim ring) could stand to be replated for show. It is easy to remove the bezel, should you desire to replate it, it just snaps off and on. The knob in the center of the back to set the time is not original. The price is $550, which includes free shipping in the U. S. If you have any questions about this clock, or any other clock questions in general, you can contact me at bobspil@Comcast.net
  9. A friend of mine had a very similar problem many years ago. Turned out to be water in the gas tank plugging up the sock filter in the tank. When you stop, the water drains back off the sock. When you start up again, the water builds back up, and there you go again. He cut the sock off and that ended the problem.
