I have used Glenn Cheaney as noted above to rebuild starters and generators for my Packards, V12 and V16 Cadillac. He does an outstanding job! I see you upgraded the distributor. the originals had dual points I think, and if not synchronized, definitely will not start. Does it not turn over at all? Below is his contact info John Charles (Owner)Glenn Cheaney (Master Rebuilder Since 1955) http://acewichita.com/index.html gcheaney@aol.com 316.529.8854 239.821.6548 good Luck! Robert
  11. Does anyone have any experience with Concours Classics or Platinum Classics in Macedon New York
  12. I am looking for information about lubrication of the torque tube contents. Do they have a fill plug, does one have to take apart and grease the Ujoint, etc and if so does one use the transmission or rear end type lubricant. thanks Robert
  13. Thanks, have that, the actual shaft is not true and magnaflux shows fractures so need a new shaft. I certainly can have it fabricated at a shop. just did not want to reinvent the wheel in the event that someone has blazed this trail which I am certain must be the case. thanks]robert
  14. The one I have that is the final link to my restoration of my 1931 452 AWP was shown to be somewhat not true and when magnafluxed had numerous cracks and fissures. I would like to know if anyone has had these remanufactured, etc. I can certainly have this done at a drive shaft shop but wanted to know if an avenue already exists, thanks Robert
