CRT Start-up Problem

When I start my 1989, I no longer have the Reatta name logo appear on the screen; it just goes right into regular operating mode. I recently had the security switch in the driver's side door replaced (the logo disappeared right around the time that went bad) and I thought that would solve the problem, but it didn't. The rest of the car is in perfect working order.

Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it?

The WOW display only occurs when you open and close the door, as soon as you turn the key on it goes into normal mode.

I had never known that there was a light show when you open the door. My CRT works find but no show....any suggestions would be appreciated

It is when you open the door then close it within a few seconds without putting the key in.
