Since Hydra-Matic Drive was standard, was this an additional charge by the factory or a charge by the dealership to convert the car to synchro-mesh? Group A was Hydra-Matic Drive and it was a $150 option on all '51 Oldsmobiles, even the 98. Hydra-Matic was standard there for a year or so, but then it reverted to optional status again.
