My main interest is genealogy, but if I know what kind of car my ancestors had then I know roughly when the photo was taken. Here's the earliest one I have. Layden B Posted February 18, 2007 Share Posted February 18, 2007 Upper is a 1915-6 Model T Ford roadster with an aftermarket pickup bed substituted for the rear "turtle" deck. It is either a Canadian car or has an accessory left front door added. American production had a dummy door moulding on the left side but Canadian cars have doors on both sides as some were right hand drive ( this one seems to be LHD). These were my great uncle's photos and he was born in Ontario.He used to tell me when I was a kid that he liked buying Buicks and he claimed that his Buick could go as fast as the previous year's Indy 500 cars.
