gearhead Posted October 24, 2001 Share Posted October 24, 2001 I have an 89 Reatta and my right door tweeter is in need of replacement. I sent a note to gmpartsdirect and they said this part is discontinued. I checked with Best Buy and they don't show a replacement for the tweeter. There are plenty of front woofers and rear speakers, but no front tweeter. I called my local Buick dealer and they said the speaker is $90 --- yikes!!!<P>Can someone tell me if this is my best option or is there an OEM replacement available. I've read the previous posts and horror stories about replacing individual speakers with Radio Shack and the like. I am not an audio buff, so I am not after a dynamite sound system. All I want is a speaker that doesn't snap, crackle and pop.<P>Any help out there would be appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
