jax95riv
Can anybody give me suggestions for lowering my 95 model Riv? Eldibrock used to make a lowering kit, but I haven't been able to locate one. Short of bagging the car, I'm not sure what I can do. I thought about tricking the ride level on the air shocks in the back, but then I didn't know how to take care of the front...suggestions?
JohnD1956
Yes, don't change it. If you want to do something for performance look around for a brace between the strut towers, but the car is low enough and already handles well, so whay mess with a good thing?JD
Guest 98Riv
I don't think there are any fast and easy lowering kits available. A late model Caddy STS strut tower brace helps the cornering quite a bit. Easy fit on the later Rivs, I've read the 95-97 models may require more work for the install. Good info on the STB mod on regalgs.org, scroll down to the Riviera forum. Cost for the brace: about $30 plus 10min of my time to install. I'm also swapping in heavier Addco front and rear sway bars this year. There is a group buy going on on the regal site also. Hope some of this info helps.
