old Buick Radio

Calling 40's buick experts!!!!!

I bought a Buick radio for my 40 Century and not sure its correct.

Serial number on the outside is 443044 and the sticker inside the backplate said part 980620 superheterodyne.

What do I have?

According to my 28-41 Buick Parts Book, #980620 is indeed a 1940 radio. 1941 is very similar in looks but carries part # 980650. Does your radio still play?

Thanks for your reply. I haven't tried to play it,but the insides look great. The starting bid on Ebay was $9.99 and thats what I paid, NO ONE BID!
