billbuickgs Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 Calling 40's buick experts!!!!!I bought a Buick radio for my 40 Century and not sure its correct. Serial number on the outside is 443044 and the sticker inside the backplate said part 980620 superheterodyne. What do I have? Thanks Bill
Glassesguy Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Bill:According to my 28-41 Buick Parts Book, #980620 is indeed a 1940 radio. 1941 is very similar in looks but carries part # 980650. Does your radio still play?
billbuickgs Posted January 5, 2007 Author Posted January 5, 2007 Dave,Thanks for your reply. I haven't tried to play it,but the insides look great. The starting bid on Ebay was $9.99 and thats what I paid, NO ONE BID! Thanks again for you info.Bill LagnaBCA #3030
