dont understand the question? photo is blurry but from what I can see it looks like a trunk latch, Is there something wrong with it? cant tell

will your teunk close and latch, or does it just bounce back when closed? if it bounces back hit the open button in the car, on the remote, or use the key as if the trunk is closed to reset it then try to close it. let me know if any of this works.

here are better pix, it closes. but if i push the open button, the close one of the doors before opening the trunk, it locks.

it looks like it is damaged on the right side of the pic. and the internal spring is out of place

It is bent and out of adjustment.

Pretty easy to hook somthing on it and bend it out of wack.

The spring is to pop the truck lid open.

Loosen the bolt and tinker with it until it works again.

the latch housing is bent on the right side it is bent apart from the other side leaving a gap, , pliers might do the trick if your carful, I din't know if the internal spring is out of place or not I will look in the morning and see.

Yup, it's bent. I have one laying on the desk in front of me with a broken solenoid. The latch part is good, and it's a two bolt operation to swap the solenoids. PM me with your address and I'll send it to you.

Weak support struts will cause the same problem.
