Visit your favorite auto parts store and get a bottle of Meguiar's Plastix and have at it. Thing is it only lasts for a little while before needing anothe rapplication. The dudes here say the Aeroshell stuff for airplane windows works best, however.

"B" "U" "I" "C" "K" Lettering is missing. It's been buffed definitely.

Replaced the Lens on mine a few years ago when they were still available (actually don't tell anyone but I did that twice-last time was before taking Betsy Blue off to the 100th in Flint, in '03)

I happen to have a very fresh one if anyone's interested. (just the Lens!)

A little on the steep side in my opinion.....($600?? too much!)

I think this is the most practical formula:

A) obtain "good condition" tail light from wrecked Reatta ($100 average price)

B) take it completely apart except for the mounting studs

C) clean all pieces with soap, water, cotton rag and a paint brush (for hard to reach spots)

D) polish outer clear lens (Novus and 3M make good plastic/acrylic polishes)

E) re-assemble with RTV/GTE Silicone (or whatever sealant you choose)

F) install on car and reap the benefits!
