heater problems.....

Oh me....went to use the heater last night and it is working, but no forced air is coming out of the center vents. Cockpit getting semi warm and the fan is operational as I can put the climate control to 65* and it comes on, but still no air will blow from the center vents. I looked at the vacuum "T" connection under the hood around the EGR assy and it is connected. The vacuum connection down below the glove box and to the right of the ECM was connected the last time I was in there for ECM replacement.

I did go through some deep ponding water last week that most surely could have pushed or pulled something apart....can someone give any suggestions please?

Thanks,

Nic

Is the air coming out of the defroster - then you are either missing vaccuum or have a stuck diverter. If coming out at the floor try changing the temp setting to MAX COOL - if the setting is far enough above the ambient temp it may automagically decide not to come out the vent.

I am getting heat at the floor, econ, and defrost....but no center vent air flow. This would generally mean a vacuum line under the dash by the ecm loose OR a vacuum line under the hood loose.

BUT NOT THIS TIME <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />..... <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I ran through some ponding water the other day .... could I have knocked off something under the car....there were also leaves in the water....could I have stopped up something?

Suggestions pleeease <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
