did you check out your BCM. If your dash lights and interior lights go on and off, that might be a result of your BCM getting wet. Was that the computer you replaced. Your BCM and as well as the EBCM would control the ABS lights and as well as the tail lights. I would have that checked out. The diagnostics would tell you if something would be seriously wrong. It wouldn't tell you if something were intermittent except what's in your history. if you need the Codes let me know. I have a repair manual that GM uses.

I need to replace the accumulator pump and I was looking at the unit and I don't think that you can just replace the motor. Is that a sealed unit or can you just replace the motor. I had looked on GMPartsDirect.com and noticed that they come together. It confused me, and it doesn't help that they don't have pictures.

I am also thinking of changing over to a vacuum assisted Brake Booster and regular master cylinder, and I have found that the proportional valve off of a fiero will work quite well. All you would need to do is to get new connector and a flange break line cutter. It has worked well for me to take the three lines and turn them into two so that you could hook up the Riviera MC.

My brother and I had recently acquired two 1988 Reattas. The blue one, which we call bell, was in a car fire cause by a short in the heater filament relay behind the CRT. All was lost in side, and all the glass. The engine is fine. The black one, which does not have a name, was in an accident and twist ed the frame. So we are taking the brown suede leather and all the electrical from the black one, and we are going to put it in the blue one, that was in the fire. So we could use any help. I do mean any. We have cut the roof off,have to weld a new one on, strip it, and repaint it. So any helpful hints or helping hands would be very much appreciated.

what would it take to put a super in. I would like my Reatta to have a little more bite to it's bark. And as well as where to get another belt that would loop the super. I supose that you could get one for a super Park Avenue. I dont think that it would take much other than replacing the air phlenum. does any one know why i cant enter my diagnostic mode for my ABS. i have tried evry thing in the book short of removing the whole system. checked all the fuses and relays. All of the relays works just fine and none of the fuses are blown. I NEED HELP, the car is driving me NUTS!!!!!!

where in the world did you get another CD player that would work for that car. My friends Riviera needs a new one. I have looked on Ebay and didn't find a single one.

when we cleaned our reatta tail light we use mothers chrone polish. that made a world of difference. If you haven't taken it apart, we, my brother and i, would suggest if was cold outsie to bring it in to let it warm up. Wash the parts with warm water in your bath tub then you will know if you need to polish it up. Sometimes dirt sticks to the plastic inside. When we put back it together, we use waether strip adhesive. that works wonders. Or if you would like to, use tared rope. That way you could take it apart in that future.

ok I am back. I would unplug it. If your engine rins better, that was the problem. If you wonder where it is at, it is on the front of the tans. near the intake and the cruise control servo. If it continues, I would check you fuel pump or filter or run seafoam through the engine.
