All together I put 3500 miles on the pair, did 4 oil changes, 1 tune-up, and spent about 10 hours washing/waxing these beauties. I also had 3 Very Near misses, and had a good sized rock hit my windshield...No breakage! <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />Here's to a WARMER 2007, and an Early Spring! (blew the head gasket) Total engine rebuild, pull the seats for reupholstering. Maybe paint it since I have a spray booth. Swap out the 284 before something goes wrong, and use an available 5Spd. Even 525/555/etc...If I ever decide to re-sell the "Yellow Car", I'll have the OE tranny, in decent shape. I drove a leasiurely 100 miles, mostly back roads, with lots of changing leaves, and water. It was almost enough to make me want to wash her one last time! I haven't actually cranked up the boost yet to see how the new head affects performance, but according to the AF meter it is flowing as much or more air thru the motor at 12psi than it used to at 17psi on the stock head <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> I'm thinking it's gonna be making some power soon <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> One thing did go wrong while it sat for nearly a year, went to crank the car for the first time couple weeks ago and nothing... No fuel pump activation and no starter <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> after bypassing the starter relay and the ASD it runs. Now the ASD is working but the starter won't engage even after changing the relay <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> So it has to be in the ignition switch. For now I am just turning on the key and running 12V to the starter relay briefly until the motor lights. Hemi Dude Posted November 1, 2006 Share Posted November 1, 2006 Fortunately, living in Arizona means that the TCs can come out to play most any time of the year. Top down weather is better in the winter time as summers are 120 degrees and a little too hot on the old dome. Will be taking 'red' to Phoenix, PIR, in a week and a half.
