gr8scott
I had a cherry 88 Reatta that I sold two years ago, because I had a job transfer to Hawaii, and didn't want to take a chance on damaging the car in shipment. Upon my return, I started looking around for another, and found one listed on eBay (#220035817477) with a "Buy it now" price of $6,975, which, judging by the condition on the photos seems a reasonable price. The catch is that I'm in California and the car is at a StLouis dealership -- a long way to go to look at a car if it's not what it appears to be on eBay. The seller has a 100% favorable feedback from his past buyers, but I'd still like to verify the car's condition before making a commitment. If anyone in the StLouis area is willing to take a judgmental look at this vehicle, and talk to me about it, I'd appreciate the effort. Please reply here, or E-mail me at flat6flyer@yahoo.com -- I'll reply with my phone number, or will be happy to call you if you give me your number. Thanks for any help.
cal55
I think that cars way overpriced, plus you'll have to pay dealer sales tax. I think you'd be better off buying from a private owner, plus you'll have more history on a private owner car. It looks nice but still overpriced.Joe
Guest wally888
I agree w/ cal55, the car is overpriced! Sun faded rear carpet, scuffed driver's seat (see in pic). I paid $6500 for a 91 w/ 69k miles a few years ago. Soon to sell, about $5500, 101k miles.
ncgirl05
This car has been on eBay for a while now - I guess everyone knows it's a bit overpriced. It looks like he's lowered the price from the original posting, but not enough. I was tempted to email him and ask if he was joking, but I stopped myself. Shelby
Reduce the price from outrageous to unreasonable. I think it worth about $2000-$3000
JWC
I too think this car is over priced, we just bought a 90 with only 56,000 miles on it and only paid $5400, which to us was worth it.
