Vincent Vega
It's 8:39, 36 Degrees, and raining. Bad weather for a bonfire.

Guest Tammy
It was a very good call to cancel. After making plans to attend...which meant I had a babysitter coming ...I went to Madison with a girlfriend. Had lots of fun, and yep, was in the middle of that snow storm. From Portage to Baraboo it was slow going. But from Baraboo to Reedsburg it was only wet. So here's hoping that many more can attend in spring and we will have lots of fun. Maybe Randy will have a horse apple obstacle course for the Reatta crowd
manikmekanik
The weatherman egsaggerated a bit!By Friday evening, he said "HI-56, LO-40, Rain/flurries thru Sunday"It got cold (42), and it rained, not hard, but unrelentlessly, thru the afternoon and evening. It was very cold by noon, and windy, started to rain.A trip to the custard shop was NOT in order! So we did the next most sensible thing - we went out to buy a new range and hood. Installed it that evening, and attended an indoor Hallowe'en party at a local horse breeder's arena. The parking area was muddy, as was the floor of the arena, and all the food was cold by the time we arrived. So, it was'nt even a good for an "indoor" haunted house/party. We left after an hour or so of cold drinks, colder food, (which was intended to be eaten hot), and even colder surroundings. Those who stayed were huddled around the kerosene heaters.Tanks 2 all-y'all 4 'yer interest! The bonfire will be huge, by spring! We'll try for Equinox, or April fools day, depending on weather.
