Guest DOyley_27
Hi All,Just bought my first antique car, a 27 db sedan. It needs a lot of TLC, however I think most of the orignal parts are still with the car, including the oil can. I need some advice on where to look for parts, manuals etc.Thank you all, this message board is awsome! dwollam
Welcome aboard Paul. Is this the car from Hermiston OR sold on Ebay? I wanted that one pretty bad but glad someone in the North West got it if it is. Ebay has lots of stuff available and there are several dealers like Romars, Tom Meyers, etc. If you have joined the DB Club you will get a newsletter that has lots of info and dealers in it. Also right here is a great place.Dave
Jan Arnett
Paul:Welcome to the club. The first thing you need to get is a digital camera. Use that camera to take pictures of everything before you do anything to the car. Then use the camera to take pictures of all the fun you are going to have. Make a baby book for the car. Think of owning a car as a archelogical dig where you want to document everything. Have fun.
27dodger0
Good choice of cars!! I recently finished a four year total restoration of a 27 Dodge sedan, and would be happy to help you find resources for parts, etc. I'm located just south of you, in Auburn. Give me a holler if I can help!! Chuck at jaehawks@msn.com
