Jay Wolf Posted May 14, 2006 Share Posted May 14, 2006 White rubber tires.What is AACA stand on white tires on early cars.I is my understanding that tire manufactures didn?t start putting carbon in tires till 1918.So all tires before 18 were white or gray or red but not black.When AACA set up most judging rule white tires were not being reproduced.They are now but in limited sizes.I have looked at the judging manual and do not see the issue of white tires addressed. What is the official stand on early tires.If a pre 1918 car doesn?t have white tires is it a deductionDoes the owner have to document white tires in his size are not avalible?
