Anyways, I'm looking for any info on chain driven cars (pictures, blueprints, etc, etc.). Specifically I'm interested in the single chain driven cars (an example would be the American Reo) as opposed to dual chain cars (such as the early Mercedes). Thanks in advance. I already have a lot of odds and ends from the Model T, to the A to Essex and other bits and pieces and since chain drive always interested me I thought I'd try to build a replica (not a 100% faithful one mond you) of an early chain driven car. meowy84 Posted January 14, 2006 Author Share Posted January 14, 2006 Oh yeah one more thing, it'd be something in keeping with the general spirit of the car: i.e. engine from that era (let's say 1900-1915 or so), bits and pieces from that era but not a faithful reproduction.
