head gasket for Continental engine

Hello !

We own a 1929 Hansa A 6 Sedan. This is a German car but has a lot of US made parts. It has an engine by Continental. It's a 212.9 cui engine, a 6 cylinder. Where could I get a head gasket for such an engine and which US car has the same engine ?

If you have a headgasket part number that would be a big help. I listed two on eBay without getting a bid, marked Continental but I don't know what they fit. Hopefully we can make a match if you find the part number.

@1937hd45 : I am afraid there is no part number at the head gasket, here are some more dates of the engine :

Displacement : 3489 ccm which is 212.9 cui

Bore : 85.5 mm = 3.37 inch

Stroke : 102 mm = 4.02 inch

Could be it is a 15U..

But we don't need just a head gasket, we need a full engine gasket kit. I asked Egge, they asked me for a head gasket number, I came back with the dates above and got no answers.

I found another one www.vapinc.com, perhaps they could help us.

Have you tried Olson's Gaskets? If I'm not mistaken, they supply the gaskets for Egge. We were able to get all the gaskets for a '29 Continental 8 from them. www.olsonsgaskets.com
