tcmb67
Anyone out ther have an idea why Front Page 2003 would change a web site under 'My Websites' from a web site to just a sub file? This happened to both the Capitol City Chapter and the Central Chapter Web site that I oversee. I do know you can right click on any web site you have in Front Page and convert it manually but I did not. Just one day they were both sub files so I just created a new web site and imported the data. Any ideas would be helpful.

The third site I use FTP to transfer files. May be I just have gremlins in my computer.Brian
Peter Gariepy
gremlins? (hate those little buggers) <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />if your publishing then the subsite problem origin is local, and not on the server. not sure what to tell you at this point but to maybe email microsoft to see if they have an answer? (yup, passing the buck) <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />Peter
Amphicar BUYER
More of the dreaded Frontpage mysteries. I use FP only because that's how the page was originally produced. I am slowly removing all FP wierdness that I can. Eventually I will stop using FP altogether. I prefer raw HTML coding or ANY other editor. FP adds too much extraneous typical MS-BS that makes your pages prone to bugz. I have seen mine do the same thing. I ignore it as it seems to be nothing of importance. It also seems to change back as mysterously as it changed the 1st time.
Guest Moepar
I'm with you on that, Amphi. I am taking my secong online course in HTML, plan on taking the course in JavaScipt next, & maybe go whole hog & do the Java as well. I see about six more total that I'd like to take (plannning on spending more $$$$$) to learn. Oh well, better to fry my brain with more knowledge than I'd probably ever use than on something else.
