FYI

I have just found a product that I think is great and thought I would pass it on. But first some background -

Currently with the Brass-Nickel newsletter I am pushing the envelope on the max I can mail for 37 cents. Right now, I can mail 5 - 8 1/2 by 11'' and 1 - 8 1/2 by 14" pages, 2 staples, 1 stamp, and one sticker for 37 cents. I can not add anything else to the mix. Here's the problem - my post office will not let me staple the newsletter in the middle. So that is why the sticker, which is a 1 by 2 5/8". The problem is the ends sometime get mangled in mailing. If I put a sticker on each end I go over the 37 cents limit.

I went to my local craft store and in the scrapbooking section found a product by Herma called Dotto, which is a removable adhesive system. What is great about this is that is leaves a series of small dots that can be easily removed by rubbing it. So now I can put a dab of dots in each corner that will protect the corners and then can be rubbed off and not go over the limit.

Yea!!

Only a woman would find this, Judy. Thanks! Everytime my wife takes a swing through the WalMart Craft area, (has it all come to this?), I take a hard u-turn. The inks in the fabrics drive my sinuses nuts. I've seen some of the clear stickers used on each end of a newsltter too, but thy're the dickens to open, by me anyway. "Don't need no stinking scirrors", as the front page rips! Wayne
