We Need Your Help!!

Recommended Posts

The message below was in the Fall 2004 Rummage Box, but needs more attention from everyone in the AACA. The History Committee is trying to find more information on the Past AACA Presidents listed below. I think info on Mr. Rohr is forthcoming. I don't know about the status of the rest of the list. If you have any leads or know of anyone who does please contact headquarters. Wayne

"Please put a note in your local Newsletter that we are looking for information on the following AACA Presidents:

George Hughes 1939-40-41-43-44

S. Howard Brown 1953

J. Leonard Rinehart 1962

Edgar Rohr 1963-64

Ralph O. Majors 1965

Albert Whiting 1969

Information can be sent to the History Committee, AACA National Headquarters. Hershey, PA. Thanks for your help."

Surprise!!!! Not picking or singling anyone out, but! Check our AACA front page! Rummage Box, part way down the left side of the page. It was mailed out back in the "fall" and also has been on this web site for some time.

I know this forum is fun to play with. I go right to it myself every day to see what my nutty friends are doing, but there are also some important things going on at the front page. As I mentioned earlier, Pat Buckley is working on new ways to spruce up her part of the Web Site and we have a completely new format coming out sometime within the next month or two.

I see most of your newsletters because we swap with each other, (newsletters David, nothing else ). But, if you ever have a shortage of story material use the "BOX". If nothing else it shows your own region that there are some interesting things going on at National. With Dave Berg's new Enzo-the cat, the material is getting somewhat away from the stodgieness (Did I really say that? I'll be hearing about it) of the old days. You have to make it interesting to make people read it..in my mind, what little I have.

That's my message for today! I'd like to see Judy Edwards shime in here with her thoughts. Wayne-the pain!

I just received a message from John Meyers, Chairman of the History Committee. He relates that he has received information on all of the gentlemen except

Ralph Majors and Albert Whiting. He has someone in California checking on Mr. Majors.

Any other help our web site people could give would be helpful.

Thanks, Wayne Burgess
