Shop Rat
1.) What is the only difference between a 1935 and 1936 Auburn Boat-tailed Speedster?2.) What was the name of the cougar that was used in the Mercury Cougar ads?
24T42
The cougar's name was Chauncey (1964-1975). He was rented from Animal World in California and had a bad hip which hindered his ability to jump. When he died in 1975, he was replaced by Christopher, Jimmy, and Frisky. Shop Rat
Christopher is the one that I had read about. Thanks for the information on the others.
stock_steve
I just found some fantastic "Herbie - The Love Bug" trivia on the Junior AACA page (within the "Star Cars" section). Great job by the creators and maintainers of that site!

Shop Rat
Correct. They changed the number from 851 to 852 on the grill.
24T42
Steve,Thanks for the kind words about the Junior AACA web site. I must admit that I am the person responsible for it. I work very hard, almost every day, to make sure that it stays fresh and new items are added constantly. Please check back often as I have some neat things coming in the future (probably not until Philly though). As far as Star Cars go, I had a request last year for the Munsters. So I hope to have it up in the next day or two. Thanks again and please check back as I am always tinkerin with the web site.
stock_steve
That's amazing dedication, 24T42. I try to tinker around with my hobby sites here and there, but to put in the ongoing effort that you do--I am in awe. The AACA web site is indeed fortunate to have you on it's team (and so are we, the readers/visitors!).
