I thought the only winners that were notified by mail were those that won Master Editor. Of course, every Master Editor must first win the Award of Excellence. Are you sure that you didn't won Master Editor??

Yessir, I did get this prestigous award. I received it last year also but had to forego the trip due to other comittments, but this year I plan to accept it in person. I don't normally like to "blow my own horn" too much. I'm more proud of the web site getting recognized as excellent than my own achievement. I really do it more for the club members enjoyment and to showcase our hobby to the public. I work on computers for a living, but the web site is another "hobby" that I enjoy, just like my cars.
